Say what you want about the flute, Drizzt; it's *still* manlier than owning a blade named "Twinkle". Seriously. ... My first piece of fan art in a loooong time. It's been sitting on my laptop for the better part of a year, and I originally wasn't going to post it, but, well... I neglect my dA account too much as it is. So enjoy. It was originally painted a few months after reading the Sellswords Trilogy, which I... still have mixed feeling about. I love Artemis and Jarlaxle, but the plot (and ending -_-) of Road of the Patriarch left much to be desired, to put it politely. But that's a rant for another day. For now, enjoy an unusually pensive Artemis in Damara contemplating Idalia's Flute. ... (You know, between Artemis' flute and Athrogate's rhyming, the sellswords could make one badass band. All they need to do now is give Jarlaxle a drum set... -shudder-) |
